THE ORIGIN
It all started in Japan in 2019, while I was looking for a new pair of shoes. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, so I decided to paint them myself.
What began with sneakers gradually led me to explore other surfaces, textures and materials. I started creating unique, personalized pieces, adapting my ideas to each object and choosing the right materials and techniques to make them last.
The name KOB comes from Kobe, the Japanese city where my creative journey began. My work has taken many forms since then, but that origin remains an essential part of the story and the spirit behind KOBDSGN.

Clothing has been an important part of that evolution. Through my own collections and limited seasonal releases, I have explored fashion as another canvas for creativity and self-expression. From designing a collection to customizing a single garment, the intention has always been to create something with its own identity.

Today, my work spans crystal art, graffiti, sculpture and collectible art toys. I also use 3D modeling and printing to explore new forms and develop original pieces. With KOBY, my own character, I’m building a universe that brings another dimension to my work.
